In Cookery Y5 have been learning fish are caught or bred for food. Even though some students were a bit unwilling at first, they touched some sea fish and shellfish, then cleaned mussels, cooked them and enjoyed them! They learned a valuable lesson: cooking isn’t always glamourous!

Vikings in Year 5

  In Y6 we have been studying the Vikings and the Anglo-Saxons. The Anglo-Sanxons and the Vikings both invaded Britain, although the Anglo-Saxons arrived there first.
